PRODUCTION
From the initial idea to a release-ready product.
Whether you come in with a voice memo, a demo, or a song that’s already mostly finished, together we’ll build it up step by step into a professional production that suits your voice, style, and musical direction.
FROM IDEA TO TRACK
Production starts with the song, not with the technology.
Good production isn’t about using as many layers, plugins, or instruments as possible. It’s about ensuring that every choice makes the song stronger. That’s why we first focus on the melody, lyrics, tempo, key, and arrangement before deciding which instruments, sounds, and production elements are needed.
01
SONG & DIRECTION
Let’s start with the song. What is the song’s core message, what kind of atmosphere should it have, and what kind of production suits your voice and musical style?
02
PACKAGE
We determine the tempo, key, structure, dynamics, and instrumentation. What should sound big, where should there be space, and which parts carry the song?
03
RECORDING & PRODUCTION
Vocals, guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, and any country instruments are recorded and mixed into a complete production.
04
MIX & MASTER
Production is followed by mixing. The final mastering is usually handled by a specialized mastering engineer in Nashville.
WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU
Everything you need to professionally finish a song.
Sometimes all you need is a mix or a master. Sometimes it starts with an initial idea, and we work together to develop it into a complete release. You can combine individual services or have Crazy Cats Music Productions handle the entire process.
01
PRODUCING
From the first demo to the final production. We structure the arrangement, instrumentation, sound, and dynamics so that everything serves the song and the artist.
02
MIXING
All recorded tracks are blended into a single clear, powerful, and balanced mix, with space for the vocals and character for each instrument.
03
MASTERING
De definitieve mix wordt technisch en muzikaal klaargemaakt voor release, met de juiste balans in volume, dynamiek, frequenties en overall sound.
04
SONGWRITING
Need help with lyrics, melody, chords, or song structure? We can work together to develop your idea further or turn a rough draft into a complete song.
05
DISTRIBUTION
I’ll help you professionally prepare and distribute your release to streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and other online channels.
06
COVER ART
A release deserves artwork that matches the music. We create cover art that complements the song, your style, and your image as an artist.
07
COACHING
From singing and performance to arrangement, repertoire, and artistic direction. Practical guidance to help you make better choices and present yourself more effectively.
08
MUSIC VIDEO
Would you like to present your release in a visually professional way? For music videos, I collaborate with a specialized music video production company to ensure that the music and visuals come together as a cohesive whole.
INVESTMENT
How much does it cost to make your song sound professional?
No two songs are the same. Sometimes there’s already a strong demo that mainly needs production and mixing; other times, we start with nothing more than a voice, a guitar, or a voice memo. That’s why I don’t charge a single fixed price for every production. The amounts listed below will give you a rough idea of what to expect upfront.
MIXING
Starting at €325
per song · including tax
The recordings and production are complete, and you want to have them mixed into a single professional, balanced mix. This includes editing as needed and up to two rounds of revisions.
Suitable for: when your tracks have been recorded and the arrangement is finalized.
PRODUCTION FROM DEMO
Starting at €995
per song · including tax
You already have a clear demo, song structure, and musical direction. Building on that foundation, we’ll further develop the track through arrangement, instrumentation, recording, editing, production, and mixing.
Suitable for: when the song is already written but still needs to be developed into a professional production.
FULL SONG PRODUCTION
€1,350 – €1,750
usually per song · incl. sales tax
From an initial song idea or a simple voice memo to a complete, release-ready production. We develop the song, the arrangement, and the sound, and then handle the necessary recording, production, editing, and mixing.
Recommended if: you want to work with a producer throughout the entire process.
Every song is different. After a no-obligation introductory meeting, we’ll discuss what your song needs, and you’ll receive a clear price quote upfront. Any costs for external session musicians and mastering are always discussed in advance and budgeted separately.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE DONE YET
A voice memo might be all you need to get started.
Maybe you just have a melody, a few chords, an idea for lyrics, or a simple demo. That’s no problem. Together, we’ll figure out what the song needs and develop it step by step.
01
FIRST IDEA
A voice memo, some text, a chord progression, or a melody can be all you need to get started.
02
DEMO
You have a simple recording that already gives a sense of the song’s direction.
03
FULL-LENGTH SONG
The song is mostly finished, and you’re mainly looking for production, recording, mixing, mastering, or further finishing touches.
ORIGINAL SONGS
Don’t have your own number yet? We can start there, too.
Crazy Cats Music Productions can also provide newly written, original songs that haven’t been released yet. Together, we’ll find a song that suits your voice, style, and artistic direction. Then we can fully produce, record, mix, and prepare the song for release.
READY TO TAKE YOUR SONG TO THE NEXT LEVEL?
From an idea to a professional release.
Do you have a demo, a voice memo, or a song that’s already mostly finished? Together, we’ll figure out what else is needed and keep building toward a complete, professional production.
