PRODUCER
As a music producer, I combine my many years of experience as a musician, songwriter, and sound engineer with the capabilities of a modern studio. I always work from one guiding principle: it’s not the technology, but the song and the artist that determine what a production needs.
MY STORY
Music has been a constant thread throughout my life. As a drummer, singer, and guitarist, I performed on stage for years and played thousands of shows. There, I learned something you can’t find in a book or manual: listening to other musicians, sensing what a song needs, and knowing when to add something—but also when not to.
Later, my work shifted more and more toward songwriting, recording, production, and sound engineering. In the studio, those two worlds came together: the musician who works from intuition and the producer who listens critically to the arrangement, performance, and sound. I further expanded my practical experience by completing the two-year Music Producer & Sound Engineer program at Volver Sound Academy in Tilburg, from which I graduated with a diploma.
That combination still forms the foundation of Crazy Cats Music Productions. I approach a production not only from a technical standpoint, but above all as a musician. The song is the focus—and everything we add must make that song stronger.

MY VISION ON MANUFACTURING
To me, producing isn’t about adding as many layers, instruments, or effects as possible. It’s about discovering what a song needs to sound convincing—and sometimes, above all, about hearing what it doesn’t need.
That’s why a production starts with the song itself—with the melody, the lyrics, the story, and the artist who will convey it. From there, we make decisions about the arrangement, tempo, instrumentation, sound, and performance.
Technology is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Plug-ins, virtual instruments, and modern production techniques offer enormous possibilities, but in the end, only one thing matters: does the song resonate with the listener?
AN EXPERIENCE YOU CAN HEAR
Years of experience on stage and in the studio have taught me to look at a production from different perspectives: as a musician, songwriter, sound engineer, and producer—but ultimately, and above all, as a listener. Because a production can be technically perfect, but above all, it must convey something.

FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE EXPERIENCE
Ultimately, a song has to have an impact on the listener. That’s why I don’t judge choices based solely on what makes sense musically or technically, but primarily on what the listener hears, feels, and remembers.

COUNTRY & AMERICANA
My musical focus is on Country & Americana, ranging from modern country and country pop to country rock and Americana. Music in which the song, the story, and a compelling performance take center stage.
It is precisely within these styles that my background as a musician and producer comes together. Organic instruments and live performances can be combined with modern production techniques and the sounds of Nashville—not to make a production more elaborate than necessary, but to create a unique sound that suits both the artist and the song.
COLLABORATE
A great production doesn’t happen just because a producer calls all the shots. It’s a collaborative process in which your ideas, identity, and musical choices serve as the starting point. My role is to listen, contribute ideas, suggest options, and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
Sometimes that means expanding an arrangement further; other times, it means omitting certain elements. We can experiment with instruments, sounds, and performances, but we always keep in mind what makes the song stronger and what the listener should ultimately experience.
You remain true to yourself as an artist—but your song gets the attention, polish, and production it needs to shine.
